I know I should be doing the other things I've listed, but you know how sometimes you just don't wanna do what you say and go off and do something else. Well, thats what I did. I've known about this contest for a few weeks, but I was afraid to enter thinking I couldn't come up with anything decent or that I wouldn't stand a chance. Now though, I think it will be kinda fun and if I do get this character accepted it will be nice to have a group of friends to brainstorm with and help encourage me to write and draw, not to mention get into the comic groove. This will be able to help me write and draw my original manga I think, so I decided to enter. Oh and the person running the contest is go check it out, you still have til July 7!
*EDIT* MORE PERSONAITY INFO: After being picked on for so long she basically assumes that anyone who approaches her is bound to be an enemy so she has a very short fuse. She often gets into fist fights, and tends to come out of it with scratch marks or a black eye most of the time since she focuses on offense more than defense. She lived in an orphanage until she was 18, then she was kicked out. She always had good hand/eye coordination so she figured that her juggling skills would bring in enough money for her to feed herself. Lack of food is the reason for her slender figure. Sometimes she is subjected to stealing, but most of the time she in unsuccesful, she tends to screw up when trying to jump walls, her upper body strenght is weak so she has trouble pulling herself up. She's a fast runner though XD!
This is my character Asha Kim, she is my design for the fantasy/sci-fi comic collab contest. She's a Korean human teenage girl. I know she doesn't seem super fantasy being human and all, but eh XD maybe the constume is a little fantasy? I love how colorful the traditional Korean hanboks are! Oh and her name is said like Sasha but without the S. All the other info is with the drawing. I hope her profile is good enough, since thats what counts most when it comes to the judging!! Oh, and we were told to omit the plot being as that will come up after the winners are announced.
